ENCOUNTER CHURCH
Encounter Missions
Serving others. Strengthening the Church.
Sharing the hope of Jesus.

SENT together
Jesus didn't simply call His Church to gather—He called us to go.
As a community of believers who know the King of Kings, we believe it is our role to passionately advance the Kingdom of God both locally and globally. Every follower of Jesus has a part to play in that mission — some serve across the street, others around the world. Together, we support missionaries and send teams to share the hope of Jesus wherever He leads.

Creative Access Areas
Some of our missionaries serve in parts of the world where open ministry isn't possible, and public information could put them, their families, or their local partners at risk. We're intentionally keeping their details private here, but they are very real, very loved, and very much in need of prayer.

Unreached People Group Focus Prayer
Nearly half the world's population belongs to a people group with little to no access to the Gospel. Each week, we pause together to pray for one of them by name.
This Week’s Focus: The Tai Khang of Laos
Father, we lift up the 47,600 Tai Khang people of Laos, a people with no Bible in their language, no church, and no known believers. Throughout their lives they receive new names, as temple novices, as returning sons, as new parents, yet they have never heard the Name above every name. Protect the young boys living in Buddhist temples, and stir a curiosity in them that only You can satisfy. Open creative doors for workers to reach them, and may the Tai Khang one day receive the new name You promise (Revelation 2:17) as Your own children. Amen.

Be Part of the Mission
Not everyone is called to go across the world, but all of us are called to be a part of what GOD IS doing.
Whether you pray, give, support a missionary, or join a mission trip, every step helps share the hope of Jesus with people who need Him. Together, let's continue making disciples and advancing God's Kingdom—from Sacramento to the ends of the earth.
